Objective of AMA

AMA was established by law and is a social organization not for profit. The objective of AMA is to expand the marine affairs, protect marine resources, cultivate marine culture, promote marine education and enhance the relationships and facilitate the exchanges with international and mainland organizations concentrating on marine affairs.

Mission of AMA

1.Inspirit research and development regarding marine and port affairs.
2.Facilitate research and development regarding fishing and mineral resources.
3.Enhance research and development regarding natural ecosystems in the marine environment.
4.Participate and host international events regarding marine affairs.
5.Attend to marine affairs regarding economic and trade, technology and leisure.
6.Attend to exchange affairs between mainland and Taiwan regarding marine culture and academic education.
7.Attend to marine affairs regarding the AMA objective.
